14" x 30 tooth ULTRA-PLANER Saw Blade ULTRA-PLANER woodcutting saw blades are specially tipped with extra durable super abrasive-resistant C-5 carbide. These blades are not mass-produced but custom made, hand-straightened and hand-polished for a precision cut.
The ULTRA-PLANER carbide-tipped saw blade is specially designed for ripping hard and soft woods in those applications where the "ultimate" smooth cut is required.
For hardwoods (oak, birch, hard maple, cherry or walnut), use 30 tooth blades.
For softwoods (basswood, pine, soft maple, balsam or redood) use 40 tooth blades.

The design of the ULTRA-PLANER saw blade includes a specially modified alternate top bevel (#7 Modified) tooth style. This design allows for a very rapid feeding of both hardwoods and softwoods with exceptional smoothness.
Note: For power feed operations, contact us and specify your interest in the Triple Chip Tooth Style or Alternate Top Bevel with Raker tooth (ATBR)- which is available by special order.
Note: For best results, the ULTRA-PLANER saw blade is recommended to be used with stiffener plates 1/2 to 2/3 of the blade diameter mounted on one or both sides of the blade body. |
