12" x 60 tooth CONCAVE (HOLLOW) FACE SAW BLADE CONCAVE (HOLLOW) FACE SAW BLADES are designed for chipless cutting 2 to 5 times faster than our flat-face DURALINE HI-A/T. Vary blade 1" to maximum height above melamine for best life. You can stack melamine 2-5 sheets high. We recommend that you use SCORING BLADES where possible.
CONCAVE (HOLLOW) FACE SAW BLADES are specially designed for table and sliding panel saws to cut single or stacked melamines, micas, and vinyls laminated on particle board.
For table saws and sliding panel saws, on single sheets of melamine use 40T, flat face TCG or ATB Woodworker II with SCORING BLADES. With stacks 2 to 5 high for chipless cuts use 12" and 14" 60T CONCAVE (HOLLOW) FACE point and flat style blade with scoring blade where possible.
Note: Specify GENERAL FREE CUT where no edgebanding is done and slight wavy edge is acceptable. Specify STRAIGHT EDGEBAND CUT for operations where melamine edge is to be edge banded and no slight wavy edge is allowable.
